It’s hard to believe that the fall is almost upon us. It’s also hard to believe that Elkinite is part way through its second month in existence. It’s at this change of seasons that we look back at our first month.
Planning started for the site in mid-May and we launched July 1st, 2015. In our first month we published 30 articles from 13 ‘Elkinites’. We published stories about the Homestead School, Fox Forest, and the Rich Mountain’s Airway Beacon.
In our first month we had 4,203 unique visitors (which as since grown to 5,117) who have generated 10,774 page views (which has now grown to 12,223). While Elkins and Buckhannon are the top locations where are users are from, we’ve received views from all 50 states and over 55 countries. (Top countries for international visitors: China, Japan, Germany, and the Netherlands)
