Charm Farm + Generation Randolph: Easy Meals from Local Ingredients Cooking Class

What can you prepare for yourself or your family with local ingredients?

Are you a master at selecting and preparing meals with local ingredients who has knowledge and skills to share?
Are you a novice cook looking to expand your skills and in need of some direction?

You live in an area where abundant healthy food is grown. Produce, eggs, and local organic meats are available at farmers markets, from neighbors, through a CSA, or even your own garden.Generation Randolph is offering a series of cooking classes based around local ingredients. The first class is Thursday, July 21st at 6:30 at Camp Pioneer. We hope you can join us!

At the class, you will learn about & prepare easy salads, appetizers, & main dishes using ingredients that are available locally during the summer months.We will discuss how to locate ingredients and plan nutritious local meals. You’ll leave with recipes and a list of venues where ingredients can be purchased.

For our July class, we will prepare and enjoy a meal with ingredients primarily from Charm Farm in Beverly, WV. All levels of cooks are welcome. We will prepare the meal in stations. Please purchase your tickets by July 13th so the folks at Charm Farm can harvest and prepare the needed ingredients. Recipes will include local meats, gluten free, and vegetarian options.
