Tuesday, July 14

4-6:30 p.m.: Show and Sell: Instruments, crafts, recordings and more for sale by students and staff, Halliehurst porch

7:30 p.m.: Blues & Swing Concert (doors open 7 p.m.), Myles Center for the Arts Harper-McNeeley Auditorium

After concert: Blues & Swing Dance with Wendi Bourne & Friends, outdoor Augusta Dance Pavilion

Wednesday, July 15

6-10 p.m.: Pickin’ in the Park local old-time, bluegrass and country jam sessions, Elkins City Park

7:30 p.m.: Blues & Swing Week Party jam sessions with food available, Madden Student Center and Halliehurst porch

8:30 p.m.: Student Showcase Cabaret with students performing in a coffeehouse type setting, Madden Student Center

Thursday, July 16

6-7:15 p.m.: Craft Student Showcase featuring exhibits and demonstrations by the arts, craft and folklore classes, The Joni and Buck Smith Arts Forum, Myles Center for the Arts

7:30 p.m.: Blues & Swing Concert (doors open 7 p.m.), Myles Center for the Arts Harper-McNeeley Auditorium, silent auction ends at intermission

After concert: Blues & Swing Dance with Tom Mitchell and Andra Faye, outdoor Augusta Dance Pavilion

Friday, July 17

2:30 p.m.: Blues & Swing Week Student Showcase, Madden Student Center

6:30-7 p.m.: Gospel Choir performance led by Angela Hill and Roddy Barnes, Madden Student Center

8 p.m.: The Big Blues and Swing Dance, Pavilion of Horns with Robert Redd & Friends and Wendi Bourne & Friends, outdoor Augusta Dance Pavilion

And Concert Info! 
Two concerts on Tuesday, July 14 and Thursday, July 16 will feature the talents of Blues & Swing Week instructors – Tim Sparks, Ricky Nye, Deletta Gillespie, Andra Faye, Scott Ballantine, Carson Diersing, Kirk Harwood, Eric Noden, Joe Filisko, Lauren Sheehan, Martin Grosswendt, Robert Redd, Tom Mitchell, Laurel Massé, Carol Sudhalter, John Jensen, Ralph Gordon, Wes Crawford, Mark Wenner, Wendy DeWitt, Gaye Adegbalola, Donna Herula, Joan Fenton, Jason Anick, Paul Hemmings, Kathy Reitz, Cyd Smith, Angela Hill and Roddy Barnes. Both shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and doors open at 7 p.m. in Myles Center for the Arts Harper-McNeeley Auditorium. Concert tickets are $12 general admission, $6 students or $82 for season passes and may be purchased online at www.augustaheritagecenter.org or at the door. Dances at the open-air pavilion follow each concert. Admission is included with the purchase of a concert ticket. For those wanting to attend the dance only, tickets are $6 general admission or $3 for students and AmeriCorps members.
