For 30 years, classics, hot rods, and muscle cars have been cruising into Elkins every Fourth of July weekend. This year is no different as we welcome the 31st Annual Auto Extravaganza of the Mountain State Street Machines, July 3-5, 2015.
Railroad Avenue, Third Street and Davis Avenue will become a spectacle of American muscle and classic hot rods this Friday night as the tradition of the “cruise-in” continues. Ryan Cain & the Ables, a rockabilly band out of Clarksburg, WV, will provide free entertainment for this kick- off event at 7:00 PM. The evening will close with a showcase of fireworks at dark in celebration of Independence Day.
Saturday, the Mountain State Street Machine Car Show will open in the Downtown Elkins as hundreds of cars roll in for one of the biggest car shows in the state. The car show will open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday and will be free for spectators to attend.
