6-10 p.m.: Pickin’ in the Park local old-time, bluegrass and country jam sessions, Elkins City Park

Two concerts on Tuesday, July 14 and Thursday, July 16 will feature the talents of Blues & Swing Week instructors – Tim Sparks, Ricky Nye, Deletta Gillespie, Andra Faye, Scott Ballantine, Carson Diersing, Kirk Harwood, Eric Noden, Joe Filisko, Lauren Sheehan, Martin Grosswendt, Robert Redd, Tom Mitchell, Laurel Massé, Carol Sudhalter, John Jensen, Ralph Gordon, Wes Crawford, Mark Wenner, Wendy DeWitt, Gaye Adegbalola, Donna Herula, Joan Fenton, Jason Anick, Paul Hemmings, Kathy Reitz, Cyd Smith, Angela Hill and Roddy Barnes. Both shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and doors open at 7 p.m. in Myles Center for the Arts Harper-McNeeley Auditorium. Concert tickets are $12 general admission, $6 students or $82 for season passes and may be purchased online at www.augustaheritagecenter.org or at the door. Dances at the open-air pavilion follow each concert. Admission is included with the purchase of a concert ticket. For those wanting to attend the dance only, tickets are $6 general admission or $3 for students and AmeriCorps members.
